    ABOUT THE STAMPS:
    The souvenir sheet is shaped after a fusion between a mandolin and a tambourine. The mandolin is hollow in order to show the landscape of a starry sky, with the full moon in the position of the soundhole of the instrument. The landscape is completed with the moon placed behind the Arcos da Lapa, the birthplace of bohemian carioca and where Chorinho made his home. Even today, several groups still play in the surroundings. Stamps of the most common instruments associated with Chorinho are highlighted in the souvenir sheet: the transverse flute, mandolin, 7-string guitar, cavaquinho, tambourine and clarinet. The technique used was digital art.
