Description
This is a circulated but still crispy,
“Ten Rand”
note from the
“South African Reserve Bank”
in Pretoria, South Africa.
This
“Rhinoceros”
design was first issued in 1993 and 1999 with two different signatures. This was the second, slightly different design, but the first signature of it, by Tito Mboweni, and it came out in 2005. Another signer issued this design again in 2009. The design of the 10 Rand was changed to Nelson Mandela in 2012.

It is the largest extant species of rhinoceros.
Back:
DB 7823766 A • Ram and sheep. • Watermark: Rhinoceros.
The Note:
A moderately circulated but still crispy specimen. It saw some hands and has been folded vertically but not horizontally. It has no edge or body tears and no pinholes.
The note will be sent in a new currency holder that protects it.
