Trump taps ‘deep state’ conspiracy theorist Kash Patel to lead the FBI

As he continues stocking his new administration with staunch loyalists, President-elect Trump on Saturday nominated Kash Patel to be FBI director. Patel claims that the FBI is part of what he calls the “deep state” conspiracy against Trump and his allies.
